Gaiser Center hosts fifth fashion show fundraiser to aid addiction recovery
October 20, 2025. Sol McCormick , Eagle Staff Writer. The Gaiser Center held its fifth fashion show at the Butler Country Club in Penn Township on Sunday, Oct. 19. Attendees were able to eat lunch while enjoying the show, which featured 10 brands — mostly from Butler County — presenting some of their clothing and accessory items.

October, 2025. This fall, the Ellen O’Brien Gaiser Addiction Center will open a new medically monitored detox facility in Greene County – the first of its kind in the area. For 55 years, the Gaiser Center has provided individualized, compassionate care for those battling addiction. Now, with the support of Staunton Farm Foundation, we’re bringing our specialty to Greene County and its residents.

Carmichaels Borough, PA, September 11, 2025. The Ellen O’Brien Gaiser Addiction Center (Gaiser Center) will expand services for the first time in nearly 55 years with a medically monitored detox facility in Carmichaels Borough, Greene County, opening in late fall of 2025.

Ellen’s House inaugurates loft space for recovering mothers and children

One year ago, Ellen’s House first opened its doors to mothers undergoing the final stages of recovery, becoming Butler county’s first — and currently only — state licensed recovery home for women and children.
