The Gaiser Center offers women and men with chronic addictions a high-intensity residential treatment program to address both addiction and behavioral health needs 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Our evidence-based treatment programs incorporate Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Therapy and other proven techniques under the direction of our full-time addiction medicine physician, nursing staff, psychiatrist, psychiatric-certified nurse practitioner and addiction counselors. Our team performs wellness assessments and mental health assessments, triages physical health needs, offers Medication Assisted Treatment assessments and monitors medication administration.
Our treatment approach treats the whole person. Clients undertake activities of daily living which encourage them to take ownership of their living spaces and assist them in establishing positive new routines. Weekly yoga classes and equine therapy programs at Glade Run Adventures provide opportunities for mindfulness and relaxation.
Gaiser acknowledges that men and women experience addiction differently. We provide separate living and treatment spaces to address the unique needs of both genders and give all clients the opportunity to heal and to recover in safe, trauma-informed spaces.
Recognizing the importance of supportive networks for recovery, we explore traditional 12-step options such as Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous with clients. Gaiser also offers pathways to alternative recovery communities including Refuge Recovery, Smart Recovery and many others. Our programming acknowledges the impact of addiction on the family unit and ensures the family is stabilized, included, and educated throughout the client’s stay.
