Outpatient Treatment (OP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Treatment

Outpatient Treatment (OP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Treatment for adults consists of less than 9 hours of service/week and are rooted in motivational enhancement therapies, education and other evidence-based strategies. Services are offered during the day, before or after work or school or in the evening. Our OP/IOP programs are an effective method of treatment for individuals who are living and/or working independently in the community. All OP/IOP programs offer family services.

Outpatient/Intensive Outpatient Program Description:

OP (Outpatient) is a flexibile program where clients attend one group session and 1 individual session per week. These sessions focus on relapse prevention and maintaining sobriety. This is a flexible level of care depending on client need.

IOP (Intensive Outpatient) is more intense. Three group therapy sessions per week along with individual therapy as needed with an assigned counselor is recommended.

The Gaiser Addiction Center, Inc. is a non-profit organization, licensed by the PA Department of Health, Division of Drug and Alcohol licensing, dedicated to the treatment of addiction. The Gaiser Center has been helping chemically dependent individuals since 1971.
