Gaiser to Open Licensed Recovery Home for Women

The Ellen O’Brien Gaiser Center will open a recovery residence in June to serve women transitioning back to independent living following treatment in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program. The first state-licensed facility serving women and children in Butler County, the sober living home — also known as a three-quarter house — is designed to provide a safe and supportive environment for women in recovery to continue their journey of sobriety with more autonomy.

Gaiser Extends Services to Greene County Prison

The Ellen O’Brien Gaiser Center will provide medication management and counseling services to inmates at Greene County Prison in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, aiding incarcerated individuals with addictions as they prepare for a healthy reentry to society.

100 Attend 'Discover Recovery' Seminar

Nearly 100 people attended a free community dialogue on the addiction issues impacting families with teens and younger adult children hosted by The Ellen O'Brien Gaiser Center and Butler County Community College on Jan. 8, 2024.

Gaiser Receives Staunton Farm Foundation Grant

The Ellen O'Brien Gaiser Center received a $24,370 capacity building grant from the Staunton Farm Foundation to fund the implementation of a new Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System. The new system will streamline electronic processing of charts and billing while allowing the Center to serve 30% more clients, meeting current needs and positioning Gaiser for future growth.
